Abstrak telah dilakukan penelitian berjudul keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan bawah pada kelapa sawit (elaeis guineensis jacq) di pt argo sinergi nusantara batee puteh kecamatan arongan lambalek kabupaten aceh barat. penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi dan keanekaragaman spesies di bawah tegakan perkebunan kelapa sawit di pt. argo sinergi nusantara batee puteh kecamatan arongan lambalek kabupaten aceh barat. penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan september s/d oktober 2020. penelitian menggunakan metode kuadrat, pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling dengan teknik pengumpulan dengan petak contoh (plot) dengan ukuran 5m x 5m jenis semak dan 2m x 2m jenis herba, sehingga total seluruh plot adalah 20.analisis data menggunakan rumus nilai penting (np) dan indeks keanekaragaman spesies (h’). hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa terdapat 20 jenis tumbuhan bawah dari 18 familia, dengan kategori herba sebanyak 11 jenis, dan semak sebanyak 9 jenis, yang tersebar pada 4 stasiun pengamatan, serta tingkat keanekaragaman jenis (h’) rata-rata tumbuhan bawah di pt argo sinergi nusantara batee puteh sebesar 2,80 dengan kriteria tingkat keanekaragaman tergolong kategori sedang. kata kunci: keanekaragaman, tumbuhan bawah, perkebunan

ABSTRACT A study has been conducted entitled Diversity of Lower Plant Species in Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) at PT Argo Sinergi Nusantara Batee Puteh, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency.The study aims to determine the composition and diversity of species under oil palm plantation stands in PT. Argo Sinergi Nusantara Batee Puteh, Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency. This research was conducted from September to October 2020. The study used the squared method, purposive sampling with a collection technique with sample plots (plots) with a size of 5m x 5m bush type and 2m x 2m herb type, so that the total of the entire plot was 20.Data analysis using the formulas Important Value (NP) and Species Diversity Index (H'). The results of the study obtained that there were 20 types of undergrowth from 18 families, with 11 types of herbaceous categories, and 9 types of shrubs, spread across 4 observation stations, as well as the average level of species diversity (H') of undergrowth plants at PT Argo Sinergi Nusantara Batee Puteh of 2.80 with criteria for the level of diversity classified as a moderate category.
