Status gizi merupakan keadaan yang terbentuk oleh keseimbangan antara jumlah asupan gizi dengan kebutuhan gizi bagi tubuh. anak-anak umur 0-5 tahun atau balita merupakan golongan yang paling rawan terhadap masalah gizi, mereka biasanya mengalami berbagai macam penyakit infeksi serta berada dalam status gizi kurang bahkan buruk. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi status gizi balita di kota banda aceh menggunakan metode regresi logistik ordinal dan menginterpretasi faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap status gizi balita menggunakan odds ratio. data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini merupakan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan oleh tim laboratorium biostatistika jurusan statistika universitas syiah kuala pada tahun 2021 yang melibatkan 323 balita yang tersebar di 8 kecamatan di kota banda aceh. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan ayah, pekerjaan ibu, dan asi eksklusif berpengaruh terhadap status gizi balita di kota banda aceh. asi eksklusif merupakan faktor yang paling memengaruhi status gizi balita dengan nilai odds ratio sebesar 2,759. artinya balita yang menerima asi eksklusif cenderung memiliki gizi baik 2,759 kali lebih besar dibandingkan balita yang tidak menerima asi eksklusif. kata kunci: status gizi balita, regresi logistik ordinal, odds ratio.

Nutritional status is a condition formed by a balance between the amount of nutritional intake and the nutritional needs of the body. Children aged 0-5 years or under five are the most vulnerable group to nutritional problems, they usually experience various kinds of infectious diseases and are in poor or even poor nutritional status. This study aims to identify the factors that influence the nutritional status of children under five in Banda Aceh using the ordinal logistic regression method and interpret the factors that influence the nutritional status of children under five using the odds ratio. The data used in this study is data obtained from research conducted by the Biostatistics Laboratory team, Statistics Department, Syiah Kuala University in 2021 which involved 323 toddlers spread over 8 sub-districts in Banda Aceh. The results showed that father's education, mother's occupation, and exclusive breastfeeding had an effect on the nutritional status of children under five in Banda Aceh. Exclusive breastfeeding is the factor that most influences the nutritional status of under five with an odds ratio of 2.759. This means that children who receive exclusive breastfeeding tend to have good nutrition 2.759 times greater than the one who do not receive exclusive breastfeeding.
