Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi transportasi pada pt. raja marga di kabupaten simeulue. setelah analisis efisiensi akan dilakukan optimalisasi berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis efisiensi. penelitian ini menggunakan metode linier programming yaitu dea (data envelopment analysis) dan simplex. pada metode dea (data envelopment analysis) akan menggunakan alat bantu analisis/aplikasi yang bernama frontier analyst, sedangkan pada metode simplex akan menggunakan alat bantu analisis/aplikasi yang bernama lingo. hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan tingkat efisiensi dari masing-masing dmu dengan calang (122,3%), meulaboh (154,0%), labuan haji (122,8%). ketiga dmu tersebut telah mencapai nilai efisiensi yang baik, dengan tingkat efisiensi tertinggi ada pada meulaboh berdasarkan nilai awal pengeluaran untuk transportasi sebesar rp. 2.218.360.000,00 dengan pengiriman sebelumnya yaitu calang sebanyak 140 unit truk cpo kapasitas 8 ton dan 30 unit truk cpo kapasitas 30 ton, meulaboh 120 unit truk cpo kapasitas 8 ton dan 19 unit truk cpo kapasitas 12 ton, labuan haji 80 unit truk cpo kapasitas 8 ton dan 0 unit truk cpo kapasitas 12 ton menjadi calang 117 unit truk cpo kapasitas 8 ton, meulaboh 145 unit truk cpo kapasitas 12 ton, dan labuan haji 55 unit truk cpo kapasitas 8 ton dengan total biaya sebesar rp. 2.073.350.978. biaya tersebut dapat kembali berkurang hingga rp. 509.157.300 apabila pengiriman dari calang maupun labuan haji dikurangi karena pengiriman melalui jalur meulaboh telah mencapai target pengiriman karena penggunaan truk cpo 12 ton

This study aims to determine the level of transportation efficiency at PT. Raja Marga in Simeulue Regency. After the efficiency analysis, optimization will be carried out based on the results obtained from the efficiency analysis. This study uses the Linear Programming method, namely DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and Simplex. In the DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) method, an analysis tool/application called Frontier Analyst will be used, while the Simplex method will use an analysis tool/application called Lingo. The results of the study show the level of efficiency of each DMU with Calang (122.3%), Meulaboh (154.0%), Labuan Haji (122.8%). The three DMUs have achieved good efficiency values, with the highest level of efficiency in Meulaboh Based on the initial value of transportation expenditure of Rp. 2,218,360,000.00 with previous shipments namely Calang as many as 140 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 8 tons and 30 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 30 tons, Meulaboh 120 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 8 tons and 19 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 12 tons, Labuan Haji 80 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 8 tons and 0 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 12 tons to Calang 117 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 8 tons, Meulaboh 145 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 12 tons, and Labuan Haji 55 units of CPO trucks with a capacity of 8 tons with a total cost of Rp. 2,073,350,978. The cost can be reduced again to Rp. 509,157,300 if shipments from Calang and Labuan Haji are reduced because shipments via the Meulaboh route have reached the delivery target due to the use of 12-ton CPO trucks.
