Lidah buaya mengandung antrakuinon, flavonoid, acemannan dan saponin yang terbukti dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri staphylococcus aureus. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sabun padat ekstrak lidah buaya mempunyai aktivitas antibakteri terhadap bakteri staphylococcus aureus dan menganalisis formula sabun padat ekstrak lidah buaya berdasarkan mutu sabun menurut sni. pengujian kualitas sabun padat meliputi uji hedonik, uji ph, uji busa dan uji kadar air. hasil pengujian kualitas sabun padat menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji ph dan uji kadar air telah memenuhi syarat menurut sni 3532-2016. uji aktivitas antibakteri sabun padat ekstrak lidah buaya terhadap bakteri staphylococcus aureus dilakukan dengan metode difusi cakram dengan konsentrasi 60%, 80% dan 100%. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak lidah buaya dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri staphylococcus aureus yang ditunjukkan dengan terbentuknya zona hambat. konsentrasi ekstrak lidah buaya yang paling efektif dalam menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri adalah konsentrasi 100% dengan rata-rata diameter zona hambat sebesar 14,61 mm.



Abstract

Tongue contains anthraquinones, flavonoids, acemannan and saponins which have been shown to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. This study aims to analyze the aloe vera extract solid soap has the activity of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and analyze the aloe vera extract solid soap formula based on the quality of the soap according to SNI. Solid soap quality testing includes hedonic test, pH test, foam test and water content test. The results of the solid soap quality test show that the pH and water test values ​​have met the requirements according to SNI 3532-2016. Antibacterial activity of aloe vera extract solid soap against Staphylococcus aureus was carried out by disc diffusion method with concentrations of 60%, 80% and 100%. The results showed that aloe vera extract could inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria which was indicated by the formation of an inhibition zone. The most effective concentration of aloe vera extract in inhibiting bacterial growth was a concentration of 100% with an average inhibition zone diameter of 14.61 mm.
