Pendidikan merupakan salah satu kebutuhan dasar manusia yang sangat penting, karena dengan pendidikan manusia dapat mengetahui sesuatu yang belum diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem gerak manusia di SMP Negeri 1 Kutapanjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain perlakuan ulang (one group pre-tes and post-tes). Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes hasil belajar, tes yang diberikan berupa item yang mencakup sistem gerak manusia pada tingkat SMP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII yang terdiri dari 2 kelas yang berjumlah 55 peserta didik. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-1 yang berjumlah 28 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 27 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik Total sampling. Hasil N-Gain berdistribusi normal dan homogen dengan diperoleh thitung = 6.305 sedangkan ttabel = 2.007. Karena thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima sehingga model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem gerak manusia di SMP Negeri Kutapanjang.

Keywords: STAD Type Cooperative Learning, Human Movement System Education is one of the basic human needs that is very important, because with education humans can know something that is not yet known. This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes on the human movement system material at SMP Negeri 1 Kutapanjang. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research used is experimental, the design of this study uses a redesign (one group pre-test and post-test). Data collection was carried out using a learning outcome test, the test given in the form of items covering the human movement system at the junior high school level. The population in this study were all students of class VIII which consisted of 2 classes consisting of 55 students. The sample taken in this study was class VIII-1 which collected 28 students as the experimental class and 27 students as the control class. The sample was determined using the total sampling technique. The results of the N-Gain are normally distributed and homogeneous with tcount = 6.305 while ttable = 2.007. Because tcount > ttable, Ha is accepted so that the STAD type cooperative learning model affects student learning outcomes on the human movement system material at SMP Negeri Kutapanjang.
