Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan model problem based learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi momentum dan impuls. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar, pada tanggal 6 dan 8 Agustus 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan bentuk Pre Eksperimental Design dengan bentuk one grup pretest posttest design. Populasi yang termasuk dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA MAS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar dan kemudian diambil sebagai sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling, jadi sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA G sebanyak 25 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu instrument tes berupa soal uraian (essay) dan non tes berupa angket dan instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini telah diuji validitasnya oleh para ahli. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan N-Gain untuk soal dan angket dianalisis menggunakan rumus persentase. Untuk nilai N-Gain diperoleh hasil dalam 3 kategori yang terdiri dari kategori tinggi sebanyak 13 siswa, kategori sedang 9 siswa dan kategori rendah 3 siswa. Dan hasil respon siswa secara keseluruhan terhadap model PBL juga sangat baik, karena siswa mendapatkan sesuatu hal yang baru yang mana belum pernah didapatkannya sebelumnya.

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of using the problem based learning (PBL) model on students' creative thinking abilities on momentum and impulse material. This research was conducted at MAS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar, on August 6 and 8 2022. This research used a quantitative approach with an experimental method in the form of a pre-experimental design with the form of one group pretest posttest design. The population included in this study were students of class X IPA MAS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar and then taken as a sample using a purposive sampling technique, so the sample for this study was students of class X IPA G as many as 25 students. The instrument used in this study was a test instrument in the form of essays and non-tests in the form of a questionnaire and the instruments used in this study were tested for validity by experts. The data collection in this study was analyzed using N-Gain for questions and questionnaires analyzed using the percentage formula. For the N-Gain value, the results were obtained in 3 categories consisting of 13 students in the high category, 9 students in the medium category and 3 students in the low category.
