Tingkat kepatuhan masyarakat dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan sangat penting untuk dilakukan dalam upaya pencegahan dan pemutusan rantai penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia, khususnya pada Kota Banda Aceh, Provinsi Aceh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan dengan tingkat kepatuhan protokol kesehatan untuk pencegahan COVID-19 di Kota Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik kuantitatif observational dengan desain cross sectional. Teknik penentuan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden berjumlah 1903 orang. Uji analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Chi-Square. Hasil uji statistik digambarkan sebanyak 1043 responden (54,8%) sangat patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan COVID-19, sejumlah 853 responden (44,8%) patuh dan (0,4%) responden yang tidak patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan COVID-19. Uji analisis statistik menggunakan Chi-Square menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan tingkat kepatuhan protokol kesehatan (p-value < 0,05). Terdapat pula hubungan antara jenis pekerjaan dengan tingkat kepatuhan protokol kesehatan (p-value < 0,05). Tingkat kepatuhan tertinggi dapat dilihat dari tingkat pendidikan Doktor (S3) sangat patuh terhadap protokol kesehatan COVID-19. Dapat dilihat berdasarkan jenis pekerjaannya, tingkat kepatuhan protokol kesehatan tertinggi diterapkan oleh IRT, PNS/BUMN dan Pensiunan PNS/BUMN, sedangkan tingkat kepatuhan protokol kesehatan yang jauh lebih rendah tampak pada jenis pekerjaan lainnya. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah masyarakat dengan tingkat pendidikan yang tinggi dan jenis pekerjaannya turut serta mempengaruhi tingkat kepatuhan seorang individu dalam menerapkan dan mematuhi protokol kesehatan.

The level of community compliance in implementing health protocols is crucial in efforts to prevent and break the chain of COVID-19 transmission in Indonesia, particularly in Banda Aceh City, Aceh Province. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between education level and type of work with the level of compliance in health protocols. The research method used is cross-sectional observational. The total number of respondents for this study was 1903, and Chi-Square analysis was used to analyze the test data. The results of the statistical test showed that 1043 respondents (54.8%) were very compliant with the COVID-19 health protocol, a total of 853 respondents (44.8%) complied, and (0.4%) respondents did not comply with the COVID-19 health protocol. A statistical analysis test using Chi-Square reveals a significant relationship between the level of education and the type of work with the level of compliance with health protocols (p-value 0.05). The Doctoral (S3) education level has the highest level of compliance, with a low risk of COVID-19 infection transmission by implementing and adhering to health protocols. According to the data, IRT (Housewife), PNS (Civil Servants)/State Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Pensiunan PNS (Retired Civil Servants)/Retired State Owned Enterpries (Pensiunan BUMN) have the highest level of compliance with health protocols, whereas other types of work have much lower levels of compliance. It can be seen by the results of this study that people with a high level of education and the type of work involved in affect an individual's level of compliance in implementing and complying with health protocols.
