ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik berbahan baku kotoran hewan dan ampas nilam terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth.). Penelitian dilaksanakan sejak bulan Mei hingga September 2022 di Nino Park dan juga Laboratorium Fisiologi Tumbuhan jurusan Biologi Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Syiah Kuala. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol (P0), pupuk organik kotoran ayam + ampas nilam + EM4 (P1), pupuk organik kotoran sapi + ampas nilam + EM4 (P2) dan pupuk organik kotoran kambing + ampas nilam + EM4 (P3). Parameter yang diukur adalah tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah daun serta kandungan klorofil. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Varians (ANOVA) menggunakan SPSS versi 2022, apabila berbeda nyata maka dapat diuji lanjut dengan menggunakan Uji Lanjut Tukey pada taraf signifikan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik campuran ampas nilam dengan kotoran hewan memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah daun tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kandungan klorofil. Perlakuan P1 (Pupuk organik kotoran ayam + ampas nilam + EM4) menghasilkan rataan tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, lebar daun, dan jumlah daun yang tertinggi pada pertumbuhan tanaman nilam (Pogostemon cablin Benth.)

ABSTRACT Research on the effect of applying organic fertilizer made from patchouli dregs and different animal dung on the growth of patchouli (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) has been carried out. The research was held from May to September 2022 at Nino Park and also the Plant Physiology Laboratory, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of control (P0), organic fertilizer of chicken manure + patchouli dregs + EM4 (P1), organic fertilizer of cow dung + patchouli dregs + EM4 (P2) and organic fertilizer of goat manure + patchouli dregs + EM4 (P3). Parameters measured were plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves and chlorophyll content. The research data were analyzed using the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) using the 2022 SPSS version, if it was significantly different, it could be further tested using Tukey’s Advanced Test at a significant level of 95%. The results showed that the application of organic fertilizer mixed with patchouli dregs with animal manure had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves but had no effect on chlorophyll content. Treatment P1 (organic chicken manure + patchouli dreg + EM4) produced the highest average plant height, leaf length, leaf width, and number of leaves on the growth of patchouli plants (Pogostemon cablin Benth.)
