Penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien merupakan hal yang sangat mendunia saat ini dan telah menjadi permasalahan utama yang begitu penting. Penemuan beberapa bukti untuk penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien masih belum optimal di rumah sakit. Perawat seharusnya menyadari akan perannya dan secara aktif ikut berpartisipasi dalam mewujudkan keselamatan pasien untuk mencegah terjadinya insiden keselamatan pasien. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui determinan perawat pelaksana dalam penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien di RSUD Teuku Umar Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Cross Sectional Study. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 130 perawat pelaksana di RSUD Teuku Umar Kabupaten Aceh Jaya, teknik penentuan jumlah sampel menggunakan total sampling, pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah 126 sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tujuh jenis kuesioner yang telah di lakukan uji validitas content, construct dan uji reliabilitas. Analisa data mengunakan uji statistik deskriptif, Chi Square dan Regresi Logistik Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan faktor pengetahuan (p=0,035), sikap (p=0,000), komunikasi (p=0,001), kerjasama tim (p=0,019), supervisi (p=0,000) dan tidak ada hubungan beban kerja (p=0,952) perawat pelaksana dengan penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien di RSUD Teuku Umar Kabupaten Aceh Jaya. Sedangkan faktor supervisi merupakan variabel yang paling berhubungan dengan penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien dengan p=0,000 dan Odds Ratio = 9,175 (95% CI: 3,550-23,713). Sasaran keselamatan pasien merupakan prinsip dasar pelayanan kesehatan yang berpusat pada hak pasien dalam memperoleh asuhan perawatan kesehatan yang aman. Rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan pelaksanaan supervisi secara periodik dan mengadakan kegiatan pendidikan dan pelatihan terkait sasaran keselamatan pasien serta membuat modul, petunjuk teknis dan Standar Procedure Operational (SPO) tentang supervisi sasaran keselamatan pasien.

The application of patient safety goals has been a worldwide matter currently and become a major issue that is crucial. Some evidences found on the application of patient safety goals indicated common issue in hospitals. Nurses should be aware of their role and actively participate in realizing patient safety to prevent patient safety incidents from occurring. In this study, it aims to determine the determinants of associate nurses in implementing patient safety goals at Teuku Umar Hospital, Aceh Jaya Regency. This quantitative research was designed with a cross sectional study. The population consisted of 130 associate nurses at the Teuku Umar Regional Public Hospital, Aceh Jaya District. The technique for determining the number of samples used total sampling, the sample was taken using purposive sampling with a total of 126 samples. Data collection used seven types of questionnaires that have been tested for the validity of the content, construct and reliability tests. Data analysis used descriptive statistical tests, Chi Square and Multiple Logistic Regression. The results showed that there was a correlation between knowledge (p=0.035), attitude (p=0.000), communication (p=0.001), teamwork (p=0.019), supervision (p=0.000) and no workload correlation (p = 0.952) associate nurse with the application of patient safety goals at Teuku Umar Hospital, Aceh Jaya District. While the supervision factor is the variable most related to the implementation of patient safety goals with p = 0.000 and Odds Ratio = 9.175 (95% CI: 3.550-23.713). Patient safety goals are the basic principles of health services that are centered on the patient's right to obtain safe health care. Hospitals need to improve the implementation of periodic supervision and conduct educational and training activities related to patient safety goals and create modules, technical instructions and Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) regarding supervision of patient safety goals.
