Pembelajaran abad 21 mengharuskan peserta didik dibekali dengan kemampuan untuk mengolah dan menggunakan informasi secara tepat dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC berbantuan media flipping book untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yakni pretest-posttest kontrol group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII di SMPN 1 dan 2 Simeulue Timur berjumlah 201 peserta didik. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu SMPN 1 berjumlah 52 peserta didik pada kelas VIII-1 dan VIII-2, sedangkan SMPN 2 berjumlah 56 peserta didik pada kelas VIII-1 dan VIII-3 yang dipilih secara Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data melalui lembar validasi, soal tes dan angket. Analisis data hasil belajar menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian diperoleh thitung > ttabel (9,42 > 1,98 pada taraf Sig. α = 0,05). Hasil analisis respon peserta didik juga diperoleh persentase 89,15%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik antara kelas yang menerapkan Model CIRC berbantuan media flipping book pada materi getaran, gelombang dan bunyi dengan kelas yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional, serta peserta didik juga sangat setuju dengan penerapan model tersebut.

This study aims to determine the application of the CIRC learning model assisted by flipping book media to improve science learning outcomes. The research design used was the pretest-posttest control group. The population of this study was class VIII students at SMPN 1 and 2 Simeulue Timur, totaling 201 students. The sample in this study was SMPN 1 with a total of 52 students in classes VIII-1 and VIII-2, while SMPN 2 with a total of 56 students in classes VIII-1 and VIII-3 was selected by Simple Random Sampling. Data collection through validation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. Analysis of learning outcomes data using the t-test. The research results obtained tcount > ttable (9.42 > 1.98 at the Sig. level α = 0.05). The results of the analysis of student responses also obtained a percentage of 89.15%. So it can be concluded that there is a difference in increasing the cognitive learning outcomes of students between classes that apply the CIRC Model assisted by flipping book media on vibration, waves, and sound material with classes that apply conventional learning, and students also strongly agree with the application of the model.
