Salah satu faktor yang berhubungan erat dengan kecemasan yang dihadapi guru dalam menghadapi masa pensiun adalah penerimaan dirinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara penerimaan diri dan kecemasan menghadapi masa pensiun pada guru PNS yang akan memasuki masa pensiun di kota Banda Aceh. Hipotesis yang diajukan pada penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara penerimaan diri dengan kecemasan pada guru yang akan memasuki masa pensiun di Kota Banda Aceh. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Skala Kecemasan Menghadapi Masa Pensiun yang diadaptasi dari Retirement Anxiety Scale (RAS) yang di susun oleh Oluseyi dan Olufemi (2015) dan Skala Penerimaan Diri menggunakan Berger Self Acceptance Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Berger (1952). Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi menggunakan teknik korelasi Spearman karena data pada peneltian ini tidak berdistribusi normal, data pada penelitian ini bersifat linear. One of the factors that is closely related to the level of anxiety faced by employees, especially a teacher in facing retirement, is self-acceptance. This study aims to find out the relationship between self-acceptance and anxiety facing retirement for teachers in Banda Aceh City. There is a negative relationship between self-acceptance and anxiety in teachers who will retire in Banda Aceh city. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Anxiety scale for retirement adapted from the Retirement Anxiety Scale ( RAS) by Oluseyi and Olufemi (2015) and the Berger Self-Acceptance Questionnaire developed by Berger (1952). The method used in this study was to use quantitative research with the correlation method. Data analysis used the spearmen correlation technique because the data in this study were not normally distributed, the data in this study were linear (P Value sig) Deviation from linearity of 0.192. Furthermore, the value of the correlation coefficient obtained in the study was (r) = -0.187. This value indicates that there is a negative relationship between self-acceptance and anxiety in facing retirement so that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The number of samples in this study amounted to 120 teachers who will face retirement in Banda Aceh city. Keywords: Anxiety facing retirement, self-acceptance, teacher
