Tumbuhan paku ialah tumbuhan kormofit yang mengandung spora ditemukan dengan mudah di berbagai lingkungan, di darat, di air, dan sebagai epifit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tanaman paku-pakuan yang terdapat di Distrik Tripe Jaya Kawasan Wisata Air Terjun Rerebe Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Penelitian ini memakai metodologi kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian survei. Lokasi penelitian dibagi menjadi tiga stasiun, Stasiun I (sebelah kanan air terjun) luas area 20 meter yang dihitung 1 meter dari air terjun, Stasiun II (sebelah kiri air terjun) luas area 15 meter yang dihitung 1 meter dari air terjun dan Stasiun III (atas air terjun) luas area 25 meter yang dihitung 1 meter dari tebing air terjun. Data diolah secara deskriptif. Hasil menyatakan adanya 22 spesies Pteridophya didapat di lokasi yang termasuk kedalam 3 kelas yakni Filicinae, Lycoopodinae dan Equisetinae. Kelas Filicinae terdiri darI familia: Aspleniaceae, Athyriaceae, Dennstaedtiaceae, Dryopteridaceae, Gleicheniaceae, Lomariopsidaceae, Onocleaceae, Osmundaceae, Polypodiaceae, Pteridaceae, dan Telypteridaceae, kelas Lycoopodinae tediri dari familia: Lycopodiaceae dan Selaginellaceae, dan kelas Equisetinae terdiri dari familia Equisetaceae. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat 22 sepesies tumbuhan paku dari 3 kelas dan 13 familia di kawasan Wisata Air Terjun Rerebe Kacamatan Tripe Jaya Kabupaten Gayo Lues.

Ferns are cormus plants, and their spores may easily survive in a variety of environments, including water, land, and epiphytic growth. This study set out the many kinds that in the Tripe Jaya District, Gayo Lues Regency's Rerebe Waterfall Tourism Area. This study employs a qualitative approach using the survey research method. Three stations comprise the research location: Station I, waterfall, is 20 meters (calculated to be one meter) from the waterfall; Station II, waterfall, is 15 meters (calculated to be one meter) from the waterfall; and Station III, which is located above the waterfall, is 25 meters (calculated to be one meter) from the waterfall's cliff. Data were descriptively examined. The findings indicated that 22 Pteridophya species, belonging to the groups Filicinae, Lycoopodinae, and Equisetinae, were discovered in the study area. Aspleniaceae, Athyriaceae, Dennstaedtiaceae, Dryopteridaceae, Gleicheniaceae, Lomariopsidaceae, Onocleaceae, Osmundaceae, Polypodiaceae, Pteridaceae, and Telypteridaceae are Filicinae class; Lycopodiaceae and Selaginellaceae are Lycoopodinae class; and the Equisetaceae family is the family that makes up the Equisetinae class. The study's findings states that the Rerebe Waterfall Tourism Area, Tripe Jaya Sub-district, Gayo Lues Regency, is home to 22 different species of ferns from 3 classes and 13 families.
