Mahasiswa tahap kepaniteraan klinik dalam menjalankan aktivitas sangat rentan mengalami stres. Kondisi stres tersebut memengaruhi subjective well-being mahasiswa. Subjective well-being berkaitan dengan strategi koping. Tingkat stres diukur menggunakan kuesioner Depression, Anxiety, and Stres Scale (DASS-42), strategi koping diukur dengan kuesioner Brief COPE, subjective well-being diukur menggunakan kuesioner Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) dan Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS).

Students in the clinical clerkship stage in carrying out activities are very vulnerable to stress. These stressful conditions affect students' subjective well-being. Subjective well-being is related to coping strategies. This study aims to determine the relationship of stress and coping strategies to subjective well-being in clinical clerkship students. Observational analytic research with a cross-sectional approach was conducted on 335 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Stress levels were measured using the Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-42) questionnaire, coping strategies were measured with the Brief COPE questionnaire, subjective well-being was measured using the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and Positive and Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS) questionnaires. The majority of students are in the moderate category for stress levels, have adaptive coping strategies, and have good subjective well-being from life satisfaction and affective components. The Spearman test results show that there is a relationship between stress and subjective well-being in clinical clerkship students (life satisfaction r = -0.284 p = 0.000, positive affect r = -0.371 p = 0.000, and negative affect r = 0.370 p = 0.000) and there is a relationship between coping strategies and subjective well-being in clinical clerkship students (life satisfaction r = 0.200 p = 0.000, positive affect r = 0.162 p = 0.003, and negative affect r = -0.158 p = 0.004). Key words: stress, coping strategies, subjective well-being, clinical clerkship students
