Pasien PPOK umumnya sering mengalami masalah kesulitan bernapas, hal ini tentunya berdampak pada kenyamanan serta psikologis pasien yang menyebabkan menurunnya efikasi diri pada pasien PPOK. Dukungan keluarga sangat berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan keyakinan diri seseorang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan efikasi diri pada pasien Penyakit Paru Obstruktif Kronis (PPOK) di Poliklinik Paru RSUDZA kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 283 pasien yang berkunjung ke poliklinik paru RSUDZA kota Banda Aceh. Pengukuran sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan aplikasi G*Power sehingga jumlah sampel yang didapatkan yaitu sebanyak 143 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Family APGAR score untuk dukungan keluarga dan COPD Self Efficacy Scale (CSES) untuk efikasi diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan efikasi diri pada pasien PPOK di Poliklinik Paru RSUDZA kota Banda Aceh (p value = 0,000). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jika pasien memiliki dukungan keluarga yang tinggi maka efikasi diri yang dihasilkan juga akan tinggi. Rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pentingnya untuk tetap menjaga dan meningkatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik agar pasien PPOK memiliki motivasi dan keyakinan diri yang tinggi dalam pengendalian penyakitnya.

Family support plays a very important role in increasing a person's motivation and self-confidence. The aim of the research was to determine the correlation between family support and self-efficacy among COPD patients at the Pulmonary Polyclinic of Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh. The research used a correlative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was 283 patients who visited the Pulmonary Polyclinic of Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh. Sampel measurements were carried out using the G*Power application so that the total sample obtained was 143 respondents. Data collection techniques used the Family APGAR score questionnaire for family support and the COPD Self Efficacy Scale (CSES) for self-efficacy. The results of the study showed that there was a correlation between family support and self-efficacy among COPD patients at the Pulmonary Polyclinic of Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh (p value = 0.000). Based on the research result, it can be concluded that if the patient has high family support, the resulting self-efficacy will also be high. The recommendation in this research is the importance of maintaining and increasing good family support so that COPD patients have high motivation and self-confidence in controlling their disease.
