Penelitian dengan judul “Nilai-Nilai Pada Syair Tari Pho Dalam Tradisi Manoe Pucok di Desa Cot Darat Kabupaten Aceh Barat”, mengangkat tentang nilai yang terdapat pada syair tari Pho dalam tradisi Manoe Pucok. Dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan nilai- nilai yang terdapat pada tari Pho dalam tradisi Manoe Pucok. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah salah satu anggota dan pelatih seni Tari Pho, dan objeknya adalah syair tari Pho dalam tradisi Manoe Pucok. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data bersifat kualitatif, dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis melibatkan reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (a) Tari Pho tari yang berkembang di Aceh bagian barat dan selatan. Kata Pho berasal dari kata peubae-po, peubae berarti meratoh atau meuratok. Tari Pho, ditarikan oleh wanita dalam jumlah genap 8-12 orang, diiringi syair yang dilantunkan oleh seorang ceh. Pertunjukan tanpa musik, hanya syair sebagai iringan. Kostum penari berwarna hijau, kuning, merah dengan bordiran khas Aceh Barat, dilengkapi dengan songket dan selempang di dada. (b) Manoe Pucok di desa Cot Darat upacara pembersihan diri sebelum menempuh kehidupan baru. c) Syair tari Pho dalam tradisi Manoe Pucok di desa Cot Darat Kabupaten Aceh Barat, yaitu syair tradisi yang termasuk kategori seumapa karena dalam syairnya banyak mengandung petuah atau nasehat serta juga banyak terdapat nilai-nilai, baik nilai religi, moral, estetika, sosial dan budaya. Syair tari Pho secara keseluruhan mencerminkan nilai-nilai religius, moral, estetika, sosial, dan budaya yang saling terkait. Keseluruhan lirik tidak dapat dipisahkan satu per satu, karena setiap bait mengandung nilai-nilai tersebut.

Analysis techniques involve reduction, presentation, and verification of data. The results of the research show: (a) Pho dance, a dance that developed in western and southern Aceh. The word Pho comes from the word peubae-po, peubae means meratoh or meuratok. Pho dance, danced by women in even numbers of 8-12 people, accompanied by poetry sung by a ceh. Performance without music, only poetry as accompaniment. The dancer's costume is green, yellow and red with typical West Aceh embroidery, equipped with a songket and a sash on the chest. (b) Manoe Pucok in Cot Darat village, a self-cleansing ceremony before living a new life. c) Pho dance poetry in the Manoe Pucok tradition in Cot Darat village, West Aceh Regency, namely traditional poetry which is included in the similar category because the poetry contains a lot of advice or advice and there are also many values, both religious, moral, aesthetic, social and culture. Pho dance poetry as a whole reflects interrelated religious, moral, aesthetic, social and cultural values. The entire lyrics cannot be separated one by one, because each verse contains these values.
