Kemampuan berpikir analitis merupakan faktor penting terhadap keberhasilan pembelajaran, terutama pada mata pelajaran geografi. Namun, kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa masih dalam kategori rendah. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis yaitu melalui pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning PBL. Oleh karena itu, rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini yaitu apakah penggunaan model PBL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa pada materi mitigasi bencana kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model PBL terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa pada materi mitigasi bencana kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh tahun pelajaran 2023 2024 dengan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI-1 yang dipilih secara acak. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan berpikir analitis. Data dianalisis melalui paired sampel t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai t hitung dari data kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa yaitu 19,83 dan nilai t tabel yaitu 1,697 dimana t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel. Hal ini menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa pada materi mitigasi bencana kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. Oleh karena itu, para guru hendaknya menggunakan model PBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa.

The ability to think analytically is an important factor in successful learning, especially in geography subjects. However, students' analytical thinking abilities are still in the low category. One effort that can be made to improve analytical thinking skills is through learning with the PBL Problem Based Learning model. Therefore, the problem formulation in this research is whether the use of the PBL model has an effect on students' analytical thinking skills in class XI disaster mitigation material at SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using the PBL model on students' analytical thinking skills in class XI disaster mitigation material at SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental type of research. The design used in this research is one group pretest posttest. The population in this study were class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh for the 2023-2024 academic year with the research sample being class The research instrument used was a test of analytical thinking abilities. Data were analyzed via paired sample t test. The results of the research show that the calculated t value from the students' analytical thinking ability data is 19.83 and the t table value is 1.697 where the calculated t is greater than the t table. This shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the use of the PBL learning model influences students' analytical thinking skills in class XI disaster mitigation material at SMA Negeri 8 Banda Aceh.
