Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui model problem based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen dengan desain pre eksperimental designs. Bentuk pre eksperimental designs yang digunakan yaitu one shoot case study. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 5 Banda Aceh. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan dipilih kelas VIII-2 dengan jumlah 30 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket untuk memperoleh data self efficacy dan tes untuk memperoleh data hasil belajar matematika. Analisis data dengan uji t diperoleh hasil thitung (4,092) > ttabel (2,048), sehingga terdapat pengaruh self efficacy terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui model problem based learning di SMPN 5 Banda Aceh. Berdasarkan analisis regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan Y = 15,344 + 0,89X dengan koefisien determinasi 37,42% yang berarti bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika melalui model problem based learning di SMPN 5 Banda Aceh dengan kontribusi 37,42%.

This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence of self-efficacy on mathematics learning outcomes through a problem-based learning model. This study uses a quantitative approach of experimental type with pre-experimental designs. The form of pre-experimental designs used is one shoot case study. The population of this study is all grade VIII students of SMPN 5 Banda Aceh. Sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling technique and classes VIII-2 were selected with a total of 30 students as the research sample. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires to obtain self-efficacy data and tests to obtain data on mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis using the t test resulted in tcount (4.092) > ttable (2.048), so that there was an influence of self-efficacy on mathematics learning outcomes through the problem based learning model at SMPN 5 Banda Aceh. Based on simple linear regression analysis, the equation Y = 15.344 + 0.89X is obtained with a coefficient of determination of 37.42%, which means that self-efficacy has a positive effect on mathematics learning outcomes through the problem based learning model at SMPN 5 Banda Aceh with a contribution of 37.42%.
