Bayam Brazil (Alternanthera sissoo) adalah tanaman pekarangan yang mulai diimpor dan diperkenalkan ke beberapa negara Asia Tenggara. Selaras dengan bertumbuhnya jumlah penduduk, kebutuhan akan sayuran akan terus meningkat. Berbagai upaya peningkatan produktivitas dan kualitas sayuran telah banyak dilakukan, salah satu solusinya adalah budidaya sayuran secara hidroponik dengan keunggulan tidak memerlukan tanah, produksi per tanaman lebih besar dan kualitas lebih baik. Hidroponik dengan sistem rakit apung adalah metode bercocok tanam di mana tanaman ditanam pada rakit yang mengapung di atas larutan nutrisi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi keuntungan berbudidaya secara hidroponik salah satunya adalah pengaplikasian POC Herbafarm dan nutrisi AB Mix.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi terbaik konsentrasi POC Herbafarm dan nutrisi AB Mix serta interaksi antara kedua faktor tersebut terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam Brazil pada sistem hidroponik rakit apung. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kaca dan Laboratorium Hortikultura Departemen Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, yang berlangsung dari Desember 2023 sampai dengan Februari 2024.
Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 3 x 3 dengan dua faktor yang diteliti yaitu konsentrasi POC Herbafarm dan konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix. Faktor pertama adalah pengaruh konsentrasi POC Herbafarm terdiri atas tiga taraf yaitu 3, 6, dan 9 ml L-1. Sedangkan faktor kedua adalah pengaruh konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix terdiri atas tiga taraf yaitu 5, 10, dan 15 ml L-1. Parameter yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah klorofil, panjang akar, bobot segar berangkasan, dan bobot segar bagian konsumsi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi POC Herbafarm berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 35 dan 42 HSPT, jumlah daun umur 14, 21, 28, 35, dan 42 HSPT, bobot segar berangkasan dan bobot bagian konsumsi. Pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bayam Brazil lebih baik terdapat pada perlakuan konsentrasi POC Herbafarm 3 ml L-1. Konsentrasi nutrisi AB Mix berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, dan 42 HSPT, jumlah daun umur 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, dan 42 HSPT, bobot segar berangkasan dan bobot bagian konsumsi. Pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam Brazil lebih baik terdapat pada perlakuan konsentrasi AB Mix 10 ml L-1.
Terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi POC Herbafarm dengan nutrisi AB Mix terhadap tinggi tanaman bayam Brazil pada umur 7, 21, 28, 35, dan 42 HSPT, jumlah daun umur 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, dan 42 HSPT, jumlah klorofil, bobot segar berangkasan, dan bobot bagian konsumsi. Kombinasi perlakuan dalam menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bayam Brazil terbaik yaitu pada konsentrasi POC Herbafarm 3 ml L-1 dengan konsentrasi AB Mix 10 ml L-1.
 

Brazilian spinach (Alternanthera sissoo) is a yard crop that has been imported and introduced to several Southeast Asian countries. As the population grows, the demand for vegetables will continue to increase. Various efforts to increase vegetable productivity and quality have been made, one solution is hydroponic vegetable cultivation with the advantages of not requiring soil, greater production per plant and better quality. Hydroponics with a floating raft system is a farming method in which plants are grown on rafts that float on nutrient solutions. One of the factors that influence the benefits of hydroponic cultivation is the application of Herbafarm POC and AB Mix nutrients. This study aims to obtain the best concentration of Herbafarm POC and AB Mix nutrients and the interaction between the two factors on the growth and yield of Brazilian spinach plants in the floating raft hydroponic system. This research was conducted in Greenhouse and Horticulture Laboratory of Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, which lasted from December 2023 to February 2024. This study used a 3 x 3 factorial pattern Randomized Group Design with two factors studied, namely the concentration of Herbafarm POC and the concentration of AB Mix nutrients. The first factor was the effect of Herbafarm POC concentration consisting of three levels, namely 3, 6, and 9 ml L-1. While the second factor is the effect of AB Mix nutrient concentration consisting of three levels, namely 5, 10, and 15 ml L-1. The parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, chlorophyll number, root length, fresh weight of stalks, and fresh weight of consumption parts. The results showed that the concentration of Herbafarm POC had a very significant effect on plant height at 35 and 42 HSPT, the number of leaves at 14, 21, 28, 35, and 42 HSPT, the fresh weight of the crop and the weight of the consumable part. Growth and production of Brazilian spinach plants were better in the treatment of Herbafarm POC concentration of 3 ml L-1. AB Mix nutrient concentration had a very significant effect on plant height at 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, and 42 HSPT, number of leaves at 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, and 42 HSPT, fresh weight of stems and weight of consumable parts. The growth and yield of Brazilian spinach plants were better in the AB Mix concentration treatment of 10 ml L-1. There is an interaction between the concentration of POC Herbafarm and AB Mix nutrition on the height of Brazilian spinach plants at the age of 7, 21, 28, 35, and 42 HSPT, the number of leaves at the age of 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, and 42 HSPT, the amount of chlorophyll, the fresh weight of the crop, and the weight of the consumption part. The treatment combination in producing the best growth and yield of Brazilian spinach plants is at the concentration of Herbafarm POC 3 ml L-1 with AB Mix concentration of 10 ml L-1.
