Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh LKPD yang digunakan guru masih bersifat konvensional dan belum mencerminkan model pembelajaran discovery learning, sehingga pembelajaran cenderung berpusat pada guru. LKPD yang digunakan guru perlu dikembangkan agar peserta didik lebih aktif untuk menemukan dan menerapkan idenya sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan E-LKPD berbasis discovery learning dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan tercapainya kemampuan berpikir kritis (KBK) peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode research and development (R&D) dan menggunakan model Borg and Gall. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam yang berjumlah 62 peserta didik. Hasil rata-rata uji kelayakan E-LKPD yang ditinjau dari aspek kelengkapan materi, keakuratan, kemutakhiran, dan kesesuaian dengan tujuan diperoleh persentase sebesar 91,25% dengan kriteria “sangat layak”. Sedangkan kepraktisan E-LKPD berdasarkan respon peserta didik dan guru didapatkan persentase rata-rata sebesar 87,38% dan 82,5% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”. Penilaian keefektifan E-LKPD berdasarkan hasil non tes motivasi belajar dengan N- Gain sebesar 0,56 dan hasil tes KBK peserta didik dengan persentase ketuntasan 79,48 dengan kriteria “cukup efektif”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD berbasis discovery learning ini layak, praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan tercapainya keterampilan berpikir kritis (KBK) peserta didik.

This research is motivated by the use of conventional worksheets (LKPD) by teachers, which do not yet reflect the discovery learning model, causing the learning process to be teacher-centered. The worksheets need to be developed so that students can be more active in discovering and applying their own ideas. The purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of discovery learning-based electronic worksheets (E-LKPD) in enhancing students' learning motivation and achieving critical thinking skills (CTS). This research uses a quantitative approach with the research and development (R&D) method and the Borg and Gall model. The research sample consists of 62 students from class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam. The average results of the feasibility test for the E-LKPD, reviewed from the aspects of material completeness, accuracy, currency, and alignment with objectives, obtained a percentage of 91.25% with the criterion of "very feasible." Meanwhile, the practicality of the E-LKPD based on the responses from students and teachers achieved average percentages of 87.38% and 82.5%, respectively, with the criterion of "very practical." The effectiveness assessment of the E-LKPD, based on non-test results of learning motivation with an N-Gain percentage of 0.56 and the students' CTS test results with a completeness percentage of 79.48, falls under the criterion of "quite effective." Therefore, it can be concluded that this discovery learning-based E-LKPD is feasible, practical, and effective in enhancing learning motivation and achieving students' critical thinking skills (CTS).
