Skripsi mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika sangat beragam, keberagaman tersebut belum teridentifikasi secara rinci, sehingga belum diketahui arah kecendrungan (tren) penelitiannya secara pasti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa tren karya tulis ilmiah mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah systematic literature review (SLR). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analyses) dalam pengumpulan datanya dengan tahapan identification, screening dan included. Aspek yang dikaji diantaranya: 1) topik penelitian; 2) materi matematika; 3) penggunaan strategi pembelajaran; 4) penggunaan media/teknologi pembelajaran; 5) model kerangka penelitian pengembangan; 6) pendekatan dan jenis penelitian; 7) model statistik dalam pengolahan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: 1) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan topik penelitian hampir merata, namun penggunaan model pembelajaran masih sangat mendominasi sebanyak 25,31% (81 KTI); 2) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan materi pembelajaran yang paling banyak digunakan adalah geometri dan aljabar. Sedangkan jenjang penelitian paling banyak diteliti di SMP 76,64% (257 KTI); 3) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan strategi pembelajaran dikategorikan beberapa bagian diantaranya: penggunaan model pembelajaran didominasi oleh model PBL 34,57% (28 KTI), penggunaan pendekatan pembelajaran dominan pada PMR 58,62% (17 KTI). penggunaan metode dan strategi pembelajaran tidak ada yang mendominasi; 4) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan media/teknologi yang paling banyak digunakan yaitu dengan desktop, namun penggunaan media/teknologi pembelajaran masih belum banyak digunakan, dari total 244 skripsi hanya 11,48% yang menggunakan media/teknologi pembelajaran; 5) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan model kerangka penelitian pengembangan didominasi oleh model Plomp sebanyak 44% (14 KTI); 6) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan pendekatan/jenis penelitian, pendekatan penelitian didominasi oleh pendekatan kuantiatif 43,44% (106 KTI) dengan jenis penelitian paling dominan digunakan adalah experiment, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif 35,25% (86 KTI) dengan jenis penelitian paling banyak digunakan yaitu jenis penelitian deskriptif; 7) Aspek penelitian berdasarkan model pengolahan data statistik dominan menggunakan deskriptif dan juga uji-t.

Student theses in the Mathematics Education Study Program are very diverse, this diversity has not been identified in detail, so the direction of the trend of their research is not known for sure. This study aims to determine and analyze the trend of student scientific papers in the Mathematics Education Study Program from 2019 to 2023. The research method used is systematic literature review (SLR). This study uses the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method in collecting data with the stages of identification, screening and inclusion. The aspects reviewed include: 1) research topic; 2) mathematics material; 3) use of learning strategies; 4) use of learning media/technology; 5) development research framework model; 6) approach and type of research; 7) statistical models in data processing. Based on the research results obtained: 1) Aspects of research based on research topics are almost evenly distributed, but the use of learning models is still very dominant as much as 25.31% (81); 2) Aspects of research based on the most widely used learning materials are geometry and algebra. While the research level is mostly studied in junior high school 76.64% (257 KTI); 3) Aspects of research based on learning strategies are categorized into several including: the use of learning models dominated by the PBL model 34.57% (28 KTI), the use of learning approaches is dominant in PMR 58.62% (17 KTI). The use of learning methods and strategies did not dominate; 4) The aspect of research based on the most widely used media/technology is the desktop, but the use of learning media/technology is still not widely used. However, the use of learning media/technology is still not widely used, out of a total of 244 theses only 11.48% use learning media/technology; 5) Research aspects based on the development research framework model are dominated by the Plomp model as much as 44% (14 KTI); 6) Research aspects based on the research approach/type, the research approach is dominated by a quantitative approach 43.44% (106 KTI) with the most dominant type of research used is experiment, then continued with a quantitative approach 35.25% (86 KTI) with the most widely used type of research is descriptive research; 7) Aspects of research based on the dominant statistical data processing model using descriptive and also t-test.
