Gampong Lamnga merupakan salah satu Gampong di Kecamatan Mesjid Raya Kabupaten Aceh Besar yang memiliki kawasan mangrove yang tumbuh alami di pesisir pantai. Data mengenai tingkat keanekaragaman spesies mangrove di kawasan ini belum diketahui sehingga kebijakan mengenai konservasi sebagai upaya pengelolaan mangrove di pesisir Gampong Lamnga belum dijalankan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai penting dan tingkat keanekaragaman spesies mangrove, menganalisis nilai penting dan tingkat keanekaragaman spesies mangrove dan asosiasinya, serta mengetahui asosiasi mangrove di kawasan pesisir Gampong Lamnga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Objek penelitian ini adalah seluruh spesies mangrove habitus pancang dan asosiasinya yang terdapat di kawasan pesisir Gampong Lamnga. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan penetapan plot menggunakan metode kuadrat. Untuk mengetahui tingkat keanekaragaman spesies mangrove di analisis menggunakan rumus indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wienner, sedangkan untuk menganalisis asosiasinya menggunakan rumus persentase asosiasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa; (1) Rhizophora apiculata merupakan spesies dengan nilai penting tertinggi diantara spesies mangrove lainnya di pesisir Gampong Lamnga dan tingkat keanekaragaman spesies (Ĥ) mangrove di kawasan pesisir Gampong Lamnga tergolong kategori sangat rendah (2) Rhizophora apiculata merupakan spesies dengan nilai penting tertinggi diantara spesies mangrove dan asosiasinya di pesisir Gampong Lamnga dan tingkat keanekaragaman spesies (Ĥ) mangrove dan asosiasinya di kawasan pesisir Gampong Lamnga pada stasiun I dan III tergolong kategori rendah sedangkan pada stasiun II tergolong kategori sangat rendah, (3) Rhizophora apiculata dan Avicennia marina merupakan pasangan spesies yang paling berasosiasi di kawasan pesisir Gampong Lamnga dengan persentase asosiasi 52,38% dan tergolong kategori sedang.

Gampong Lamnga is one of the villages in Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency which has a mangrove area that grows naturally on the coast. Data regarding the level of diversity of mangrove species in this area is not yet known, so policies regarding conservation as an effort to manage mangroves on the coast of Gampong Lamnga have not been implemented properly. This research aims to analyze the importance and level of diversity of mangrove species, analyze the importance and level of diversity of mangrove species and their associations, and determine mangrove associations in the coastal area of Gampong Lamnga. This research uses a survey method. The object of this research is all sapling habitus mangrove species and their associations found in the coastal area of Gampong Lamnga. Data collection was carried out by determining plots using the quadratic method. To determine the level of diversity of mangrove species, analysis was used using the Shannon-Wienner diversity index formula, while to analyze associations using the association percentage formula. Based on the research results, it can be conclude that; (1) Rhizophora apiculata is the species with the highest importance among other mangrove species on the coast of Gampong Lamnga and the level of species diversity (Ĥ) of mangroves in the coastal area of Gampong Lamnga is classified as very low (2) Rhizophora apiculata is the species with the highest importance among mangrove species and their associations on the coast of Gampong Lamnga and the level of species diversity (Ĥ) of mangroves and their associations in the coastal area of Gampong Lamnga at stations I and III are classified as low category while at station II they are classified as very low category, (3) Rhizophora apiculata and Avicennia marina are a pair of species that most associated in the coastal area of Gampong Lamnga with an association percentage of 52.38% and classified as medium category.
