Model pembelajaran project based learning adalah model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, peserta didik aktif terlibat dalam proses belajar dan bertanggung jawab atas hasil proyek mereka. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran model PjBL adalah media realia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media realia lapisan tanah terhadap hasil belajar geografi peserta didik SMAN 2 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperimental design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA N 2 Banda Aceh. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan pengambilan sampel dua kelas yang bertindak sebagai kelas ekperimen X turki dan kelas kontrol yaitu kelas X Finlandia. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini adalah lembar tes. Tes yang dilakukan yaitu tes objektif dengan 20 butir soal pilihan ganda dengan dua kali tes yaitu pretest dan post-test. Hasil post-test pada kelas ekperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata 82 sedangkan hasil post-test kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai rata-rata 71,84. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil uji hipotesis nilai thitung = 4,417. Pada tabel distribusi t dengan taraf kesalahan 5% nilai ttabel =1,671. Kriteria pengujian hipotesis terima Ha jika thitung > ttabel. Hasil penghitungan ditemukan nilai thitung (4,417) > ttabel (1,671) maka diterima Ha. Diterima Ha dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan media realia lapisan tanah terhadap hasil belajar geografi peserta didik SMAN 2 Banda Aceh.

Learning model project based learning is a student-centered learning model, students are actively involved in the learning process and are responsible for the results of their projects. One of the learning media that can be used in the PjBL model learning process is realia media. The aim of this research is to find out whether there is an influence on the use of learning models project based learning assisted by soil layer realia media on the geography learning outcomes of SMAN 2 Banda Aceh students. This research uses a quantitative type of method quasi experimental design. The population in this study was all students in class X SMA N 2 Banda Aceh. Sampling is carried out using techniques purposive sampling, by sampling two classes which act as the experimental class X Türkiye and the control class namely class X Finland. The instrument used in this research is a test sheet. The test carried out is an objective test with 20 multiple choice questions with two tests, namely pretest And post-test. Results post-test in the experimental class an average score of 82 was obtained while the results post-test the control class obtained an average value of 71.84. Based on data analysis, the results of the tcount = 4.417. In the t distribution table with an error level of 5%, the ttable value=1.671. Hypothesis testing criteria accept Ha if tcount > ttable. The calculation results found the t valuecount (4,417) > ttable (1.671) then H is accepteda.
