Tomat ceri merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang popular di dunia karena rasanya yang manis dan ukuran buahnya yang kecil. Di Indonesia untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman tomat dilakukan dengan menerapkan sitem tumpangsari. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam memperbaiki teknologi budidaya tanaman tomat ceri untuk memaksimalkan kualitas dan kuantitasnya ialah melalui penerapan pemberian naungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakter morfo-fisiologi beberapa varietas tanaman tomat ceri yang ditanam dibawah naungan dan tanpa naungan. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di desa Lambhuk, Kecamatan Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini telah berlangsung pada Juni sampai Oktober 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua model penelitian. Adapun model penelitian pertama adalah Tanpa Naungan dan model penelitian yang kedua Naungan 50%. Masing-masing model penelitian menggunakan lima varietas tomat ceri yaitu Chung, White Cherry, Black Cherry, Pear Yellow dan Orange Cherry. Masing-masing kombinasi diulang sebanyak 3 kali, sehingga keseluruhan terdapat 15 satuan percobaan pada masing masing model penelitian. Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 3 tanaman sehingga total keseluruhan tanaman 45 tanaman pada masing-masing model penelitian. Parameter yang diamati yaitu pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, lebar daun, Panjang daun, luas daun, total padatan terlarut, vitamin C dan bobot perbuah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan tomat ceri tanpa naungan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 2 MST, jumlah daun 4 dan 6 MST, diameter batang 2 MST, luas daun, lebar daun, vitamin C, dan bobot per buah. Berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 4 MST dan panjang daun. Berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 6 MST, jumlah daun 2 MST, diameter batang 4 dan 6 MST, dan total padatan terlarut. Sedangkan tomat ceri dengan naungan 50% berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun 6 MST, vitamin C, dan bobot per buah. Berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 2 MST, jumlah daun 4 MST, dan total padatan terlarut. Berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman 4 dan 6 MST, jumlah daun 2 MST, diameter batang 2, 4, dan 6 MST, luas daun, lebar daun, dan panjang daun.

Cherry tomatoes are a popular horticultural crop in the world because of their sweet taste and small fruit size. In Indonesia, to increase tomato crop production is carried out by implementing an intercropping system. One way that can be done in improving the cultivation technology of cherry tomato plants to maximize their quality and quantity is through the application of shade. The purpose of this study is to determine the morpho-physiological character of several varieties of cherry tomato plants grown under shade and without shade. This research has been carried out in Lambhuk village, Ulee Kareng District, Banda Aceh. This research has taken place from June to October 2024. This study uses a non-factorial Random Group Design (RAK). This study uses two research models. The first research model is No Shade and the second research model is 50% Shade. Each research model used five varieties of cherry tomatoes, namely Chung, White Cherry, Black Cherry, Pear Yellow and Orange Cherry. Each combination was repeated 3 times, so that there were 15 experimental units in each research model. Each experimental unit consists of 3 plants so that the total number of plants is 45 plants in each research model. The parameters observed were plant growth, number of leaves, stem diameter, leaf width, leaf length, leaf area, total dissolved solids, vitamin C and fruit weight. The results showed that the treatment of cherry tomatoes without shade had a very real effect on plant height of 2 MST, number of leaves 4 and 6 MST, stem diameter of 2 MST, leaf area, leaf width, vitamin C, and weight per fruit. It has a real effect on plant height of 4 MST and leaf length. It had no real effect on plant height of 6 MST, number of leaves 2 MST, stem diameter of 4 and 6 MST, and total dissolved solids. Meanwhile, cherry tomatoes with 50% shade have a very real effect on the number of leaves of 6 MST, vitamin C, and weight per fruit. It has a significant effect on plant height of 2 MST, number of leaves 4 MST, and total dissolved solids. It had no obvious effect on plant height of 4 and 6 MST, number of leaves 2 MST, stem diameter of 2, 4, and 6 MST, leaf area, leaf width, and leaf length.
