Embellishment memiliki peranan penting untuk menampilkan keindahan pada busana. Sumber inspirasi yang paling sering digunakan pada busana adalah bunga yang memiliki banyak kelopak. Faktanya ada beberapa bunga lainnya yang tetap terlihat menarik meski hanya memiliki 1 helai kelopak, salah satunya adalah bunga Anthurium Adreanum atau sering juga disebut sebagai bunga Kuping Gajah atau flamingo. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendesain busana pesta anak dengan mengaplikasikan corsage bunga Anthurium Adreanum (Kuping Gajah) sebagai embellishment pada busananya, mengaplikasikan corsage bunga Anthurium Adreanum (Kuping Gajah) sebagai embelishment pada busana pesta anak, dan tanggapan informan mengenai desain busana pesta anak yang diaplikasikan corsage bunga Anthurium Adreanum (Kuping Gajah) sebagai embellishment. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen terapan dengan pendekatan kualitiatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah 2 desain model busana pesta anak yang mengaplikasikan corsage bunga Anthurium Adreanum (Kuping Gajah) sebagai embelishment pada bagian depan (muka) busana. Kedua desain busana pesta anak memiliki keunikan tersendiri. Pada busana pesta anak model pertama didominasi dengan warna pink pada dasar busana dan dipadukan dengan warna putih pada korsase bunga Anthurium Adreanum (Kuping Gajah), ujung lengan, dan kerah. Korsase (corsage) bunga pada busana pesta anak model pertama diaplikasikan didada kiri. Sedangkan pada busana pesta anak model kedua diaplikasikan tepat ditengah muka busana. Busana pesta anak model kedua memiliki potongan pinggang dan memiliki perpaduan 3 warna yaitu biru sebagai warna dasar, kuning, dan putih. Sedangkan pada busana pesta anak model pertama tidak memiliki potongan pinggang. Tanggapan dari informan terhadap kedua pesta anak yang mengaplikasikan korsase bunga Anthurium Adreanum (Kuping Gajah) sebagai embellishment pada bagian depan (muka) busana menunjukkan ketertarikan. Informan A lebih menyukai busana model 2 dikarenakan lebih banyak perpaduan warna. Sedangkan informan B lebih menyukai busana model 1 dikarenakan lebih simpel. Untuk 3 informan lainnya menyukai kedua busana pesta anak secara keseluruhan.

ABSTRACT Rabilla Fitri. (2025). Application of Anthurium Adreanum (Elephant Ear) Flower as Embellishment on Children's Party Fashion. [Thesis. Universitas Syiah Kuala]. Under the guidance of Dr. Novita, S.Pd. MA and Dra. Rosmala Dewi, M.Pd. Embellishment has an important role to display the beauty of clothing. The source of inspiration most often used in clothing is flowers that have many petals. In fact, there are several other flowers that still look attractive even though they only have 1 petal, one of which is the Anthurium Adreanum flower or often referred to as the elephant ear or flamingo flower. The objectives of this research are to design children's party dress by applying Anthurium Adreanum flower corsage (elephant ear) as embellishment on the clothes, applying Anthurium Adreanum flower corsage (elephant ear) as embellishment on children's party dress, and informants' responses regarding the design of children's party dress with Anthurium Adreanum flower corsage (elephant ear) as embellishment. This research used an applied experimental method with a qualitative approach. The result of this research is 2 designs of children's party dress models that apply Anthurium Adreanum (elephant ear) flower corsage as embellishment on the front of the dress. Both designs have their own uniqueness. The first model is dominated by pink colour on the base of the outfit and combined with white colour on the corsage of Anthurium Adreanum flower (elephant ear), sleeve tip, and collar. The flower corsage on the first model's children's party dress was applied on the left chest. Whereas on the second model children's party dress, it was applied right in the middle of the front of the dress. The second model children's party dress has a waist cut and has a combination of 3 colours, namely blue as the base colour, yellow, and white. Meanwhile, the first model of children's party dress did not have a waist cut. Informants' responses to the two children's party dresses that applied Anthurium Adreanum (elephant ear) flower corsage as embellishment on the front of the dress showed interest. Informant A preferred dress model 2 because there were more colour combinations. Meanwhile, informant B preferred dress model 1 because it was simpler.
