ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbasis praktikum terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan April 2017. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Randomized Pretest-posttest Control. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 4 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 1 sebagai eksperimen 1, XI MIA 2 sebagai eksperimen 2, XI MIA 3 sebagai eksperimen 3, sedangkan kelas XI MIA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains peserta. Analisis data menggunakan Uji idependent sampel t-test pada taraf signifikan 0,05 untuk perbedaan hasil belajar kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Keterampilan proses sains dianalisis dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik pada masing-masing kelas eksperimen 1,2,3 mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan, pada kelas eksperimen 1(thitung 6,77> ttabel 2,007) pada taraf signifikan 5% (?=0,05), keterampilan proses sains berkategori baik pada praktikum pertama 72%, berkategori baik pada praktikum kedua 79%, berkategori sangat baik pada praktikum ketiga 85%. kelas eksperimen 2 (thitung 7,13> ttabel 2,014) pada taraf signifikan 5% (?=0,05), keterampilan proses sains berkategori baik pada praktikum pertama 71%, berkategori baik pada praktikum kedua 74%, berkategori sangat baik pada praktikum ketiga 82%.%. kelas eksperimen 3 (thitung 6,33> ttabel 2,017) pada taraf signifikan 5% (?=0,05), keterampilan proses sains berkategori baik pada praktikum pertama 69%, berkategori baik pada praktikum kedua 73%, berkategori baik pada praktikum ketiga 78%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbasis praktikum dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia di Mas Babun Najah

ABSTRACT
The purpouse of this study was to determine the effect on the use of TPS model based on gender on the material about excretion system of human being toward students’ critical thinking, learning motivation, and the concept mastery, and the relation between the students’ critical thinking with the concept mastery, and the students’ learning motivation with the concept mastery on the material about the excretion system of human being. Data were collected in March 2017. The method used in this research was design factorial method. This research was conducted in four classes that are XI MIA 1 (female students) and XI MIA 4 (male students) as experimental classes, while XI MIA 3 (female students) and XI MIA 2 (male students) as control classes. The instruments used in this research are; a test to evaluate students’ critical thinking and the mastery of concepts and also the questionnaire to assess the students’ motivation in learning. The data was analyzed by using variant analysis (ANAVA) with significant degree 0,05. In addition the result of the relation between the students’ critical thinking and the concept mastery, and the relation between the students’ learning motivation and the concept mastery was analyzed by using correlation formula. The result of variant analysis showed that Fhitung > Ftabel, that are; for the students’ critical thinking is 580,27 > 2,70, learning motivation is 14,49 > 2,70, and the concept mastery is 28,70 > 2,70. Furthermore, the result of the relation between the students’ critical thinking and concept mastery for the female students is r = 0,527 and for the male students is r = 0,468. While the result of relation between the students’ learning motivation and the concept mastery for the female students is r = 0,642 and for the male students is r = 0,480. In conclusion, learning using TPS model influenced the students’ critical thinking, learning motivation, and concept mastery and there is a strong correlation between students’ critical thinking and concept mastery on female students. Meanwhile on male students there is a strong correlation between learning motivation and concepts mastery on the human excretion system subject in MAS Babun Najah Banda Aceh.
