Craniocerebral injury is the most causes for brain damage, or even causes of death. Many factors influence the amount of craniocerebral injury and traffic accident is one of the most common factors. The aim of the research to find out the Epidemiology of Craniocerebral Injury due to traffic accident in dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh. This is a descriptive research with cross-sectional approach. Data collecting was done in two months. Purposive sampling is used for selecting all victims of craniocerebral injury treated in emergency room of dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital period March-April 2013. Retrieval of data used a structured questionnaire and checklist. Result of 97 patients who went to emergency room of dr. zainoel Abidin general hospital, the most incidence of craniocerebral injury was 37,11% in age group between 25-44 years old, 63,93% is male and work outside the home has the highest cases for 81,44%. Craniocerebral injury is most happen between 06.01 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. about 39,18% and the most common accident happen on Saturday for 20,62% with straight road take a highest number of accident by 50,52%. Generally, the most craniocerebral injury is mild craniocerebral injury
