ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan video animasi berbasis problem based video instruction pada materi sistem respirasi manusia di kelas XIMAN Bireuen, dan untuk mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan problem based video Animasi instruction, problem based video instruction, dan model konvensional pada materi sistem respirasi manusia di kelas XI MAN Bireuen. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimental design, metode yang digunakan quasi eksperimen, dengan design Randomized Subject Control-group Pre-test and Post-test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 152 siswa. Dua instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu soal essay dan tes objektif pilihan ganda. Soal essay merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan tes objektif multiple choise untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji anava pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan media video animasi berbasis problem based video instruction menggunakan model Gagnes nine Events of Instruction dinyatakan valid dan layak digunakan. Hasil uji anava terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh Fhitung (155,03) ? Ftabel (2,67) hal tersebut menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan problem based video Animasi instruction, problem based video instruction, dan model konvensional pada materi sistem respirasi manusia di kelas XI MAN Bireuen. Sedangkan hasil uji anava terhadap hasil belajar siswa adalah Fhitung (94,248) ? Ftabel (2,67) hal tersebut menunjukkan terdapatperbedaansecara signifikanhasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan problem based video Animasi instruction, problem based video instruction, dan model konvensional pada materi sistem respirasi manusia di kelas XI MAN Bireuen.

ABSTRACT
This research was aimed to find outthe process of developing problem based video instruction based video animation on human respiration system concept in class the second grade students of Islamic Senior High School Bireuen, and to find out the differences ofimprovement of students’ critical thinking skills and their learning outcomes by using problem based video animation instruction, problem based video instruction, and conventional models in the material of human respiration systems in class the second grade students of Islamic Senior High School Bireuen.The approach employed in this study eksperimental design, quasi-experiment method, with the design of Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest. The sample of this study consisted of 152 students. Two instruments used in this study, namely essay problem and multiple-choice objective tests. Essay problem was used in order to measure students' critical thinking abilities and the multiple-choice objective test is used to measure student learning outcomes.The data analysis using anavatest at a significant level of 0.05. The findings shows that the process of developing animation video media based on problem based video instruction using the Gagnes nine Events of Instructionmodel is valid and feasible to use. The results of Analysis of Variance (anova) test on students’ critical thinking skills was Fcount (155.03) ? Ftable (2.67), which shows that there were differences in the increase in students' critical thinking skills by using problem based video Animation instruction, problem based video instruction, and conventional models in system material human respiration in class the second grade students of Islamic Senior High School Bireuen. The results of Analysis of Variance (anova) on students’ learning outcomes shows that Fcount (94,248 ) ?
