Telah dilakukan penelitian Pengaruh Limbah Cair Tahu (LCT) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Selada (Lactuca sativa L.) Secara Hidroponik Wick System. Penelitian dimulai sejak bulan Oktober hingga Juni 2020 dan dilaksanakan di Naungan Pekarangan Edukasi Pangan Dinas Pangan Pemerintah Aceh (NAKASIPAN). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi LCT sebagai media hidroponik tanaman selada dan menentukan konsentrasi yang sesuai untuk media tanam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Sistem penanaman menggunakan metode Wick system dan terdapat 6 perlakuan dengan 4 pengulangan yaitu P0 (100% air), P1 (100% Ab mix), 100% LCT, 75% LCT, P4 50% LCT, 25% LCT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa konsentrasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kurang memberikan pengaruh pada tanaman selada yang dibuktikan dengan hasil uji lanjut berbagai aspek pertumbuhan yang tidak berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan kontrol (tanpa konsentrasi limbah tahu cair) namun berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan dengan menggunakan media Ab mix 100%. Walaupun demikian, penelitian ini telah membuktikan bahwa limbah tahu cair dapat digunakan sebagai media hidroponik, namun perlu ditemukan konsetrasi yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan tanaman selada.

Research on the Effect of Tofu Liquid Waste (TLW) on Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) growth using Wick System Hydroponic has been conducted. This research began from October 2019 to June 2020 and was carried out in the Food Education Shelter of Aceh Government Food Service (NAKASIPAN). This research aims to determine the potential of TLW as a hydroponic media for lettuce and determine the appropriate concentration for growing media. This research uses an experimental method using a completely randomized design. Research on the Effect of Tofu Liquid Waste (LCT) on the Growth of Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) Hydroponic Wick System. The study began from October to June 2020 and was carried out at the Aceh Government Food Education Shelter Food Office (NAKASIPAN). The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of TLW as a hydroponic media for lettuce and determine the appropriate concentration for growing media. This research uses an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD). The planting system uses the Wick system method and there are 6 treatments with 4 repetitions namely P0 (100% water), P1 (100% Ab mix), 100% TLW, 75% TLW, P4 50% TLW, 25% TLW. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the concentration used in this study did not have a significant effect on lettuce plants as evidenced by the results of further tests of various research parameters. The growth was not significantly different from the control treatment (without liquid tofu waste concentration) but it was significantly different from the treatment using Ab mix 100%. However, this research has proven that liquid tofu waste can be used as a hydroponic medium, but it is necessary to find an appropriate concentration for the growth of lettuce plants.
