Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji ketahanan beberapa genotipe cabai hasil hibridisasi terhadap serangan Begomovirus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Balai Latihan Penyuluh Pertanian (BLPP) Saree Kecamatan Lembah Seulawah, Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dimulai pada bulan Agustus 2021 sampai Desember 2021. Penelitian ini disusun berdasarkan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) pola non dengan 12 perlakuan yang terdiri atas 10 genotipe uji dan 2 varietas tetua. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali dan setiap satuan percobaan pada ulangan terdiri atas 10 tanaman, sehingga diperoleh 360 tanaman. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tanaman dengan pertumbuhan terbaik terdapat pada genotipe F5-1 berdasarkan parameter tinggi tanaman umur 30,45, 60, 75 HST serta tinggi dikotomus umur 45, 60, 75 HST. Tanaman uji yang mengalami serangan virus keseluruhan (100% serangan) terlama yaitu genotipe F5-1 pada umur 120 HST dan genotipe F5-2, F5-3, F5-4, F5-5 pada umur 60 HST. Terdapat beberapa tanaman uji yang menunjukkan gejala serangan ringan pada umur 135 HST yaitu F5-1, F5-2, F5-3, F-4 dan F5-5. Genotipe F5-1 memiliki persentase gejala serangan ringan tertinggi berupa daun keriting kuning sebanyak 30%, daun menguning sebanyak 16,7%, daun menguning penuh sebanyak 6,7%, serangan berat sebanyak 36,7% dan serangan sangat berat sebanyak 10%.

The purpose of this study was to test the resistance of several genotypes of hybridized chili against Begomovirus attack. The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Saree Agricultural extension Training Center, Lembah Seulawah, Aceh Besar. The timing of the research starts from August to December 2021. This study was compiled based on a non-patterned Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 12 treatments consisting of 10 test genotypes and 2 parental varieties. Each treatment was repeated 3 times and each experimental unit in the replication consisted of 10 plants, so that 360 plants were obtained. Data analysis used ANOVA and continued with Tukey test at 5% level. The results showed that the plants with the best growth were found in the F5-1 genotype based on plant height parameters at 30,45, 60, 75 DAP and dichotomous height at 45, 60, 75 DAP. The test plants that experienced the longest total virus attack (100% attack) were genotype F5-1 at 120 DAP and genotypes F5-2, F5-3, F5-4, F5-5 at 60 DAP. There were several test plants that showed mild attack symptoms at the age of 135 DAP, namely F5-1, F5-2, F5-3, F-4 and F5-5. Genotype F5-1 had the highest percentage of mild attack symptoms in the form of yellow curly leaves as much as 30%, yellowing leaves as much as 16.7%, fully yellowed leaves as much as 6.7%, heavy attacks as much as 36.7% and very severe attacks as much as 10%.
