Penelitian ini berjudul “Persepsi Isu Aceh Legalkan Poligami di Facebook” yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Persepsi masyarakat atas isu Aceh Legalkan Poligami di Facebook. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap informan yang meninggalkan komentar pada akun facebook serambinews.com. Penelitian ini berfokus pada Isu Aceh Legalkan Poligami di Facebook. Penelitian menggunakan teori Persepsi, di mana teori ini menjelaskan bahwa persepsi ialah inti komunikasi yang harus akurat agar informan dapat berkomunikasi secara efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya persepsi dari kalangan perempuan di Aceh terkait Isu Aceh Legalkan Poligami merupakan bagian dari suara khalayak media yang memberikan realita berbeda dari apa yang ditampilkan oleh media pada umumnya. Ketidaksiapan perempuan terhadap isu yang diberitakan mengenai poligami menimbulkan keraguan atas keadilan dari kebijakan poligami jika isu tersebut diterapkan. Dalam hal ini persepsi isu Aceh legalkan poligami tentu menjadi hal yang tidak seimbang, isu yang menekankan perempuan sebagai objek mendapat banyak sekali persepsi negatif dari masyarakat karena isu poligami merupakan hal yang sangat sensitif bagi kalangan perempuan.

ABSTRACT This research is titled as "Perception of Aceh Legalize Polygamy issue on Facebook" which aims to find out the perception of Aceh legalization of polygamy on Facebook. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. With the data collection techniques used in in-depth interviews and observations of informants who leave comments on serambinews.com facebook account. This research focuses on the Issue of Aceh Legalizing Polygamy on Facebook. Research uses perception theory, which explains that perception is the core of communication that must be accurate in order for informants to communicate effectively. The results showed that the perception among women in Aceh related to the Issue of Aceh Legalkan Polygamy is part of the voice of the media audience that provides a reality different from what is displayed by the media in general. Women's unpreparedness on the issue of polygamy raises doubts about the fairness of polygamy policies if the issue is applied, personal experience of the reality of polygamy marriage that she knows affects women's perception of the legalization of polygamy in Aceh. In this case the perception of Aceh issue legalizing polygamy is certainly an unbalanced thing, the issue that emphasizes women as objects gets a lot of negative perceptions from the community because the issue of polygamy is a very sensitive thing for women.
